JSW takes significant step to boost India’s industrial growth and contribute to nation building at the WEF in Davos
At the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, JSW signed significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the governments of Maharashtra and Telangana, marking substantial investments in both states.

In Maharashtra, the JSW Group committed to investing Rs 3 lakh crores to enhance steel manufacturing with green technology, develop renewable energy projects, and establish advanced units for electric vehicles and high-performance EV batteries. This collaboration aims to generate approximately thousands of jobs and bolster Maharashtra’s industrial environment.

Additionally, JSW UAV Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Defence, has entered into an MoU with the Government of Telangana to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to make Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in the state.
As part of this strategic initiative, JSW UAV is set to invest approximately Rs 800 crores in the project, through a technology arrangement with a leading US-based defence technology company.
